The Valley View Sewer District's Utility Assistance Program or "the Flush Fund" is available to help families in crisis with their sewer bill.
This special fund, administered by The Salvation Army, provides assistance to District families who cannot afford to pay their sewer bill.
To qualify you must be an owner/occupant of your home or a tenant in residence for 12 months, receive a Valley View Sewer District bill, and meet certain income guidelines. To see if you are eligible for assistance, call the West Seattle/White Center Salvation Army office at (206) 767-3150 Ext. 102.
"The Flush Fund" was originally funded by corporate sponsors, but has been sustained by individual donations since 2001.
Customers like you have made this program a reality but it is up to all of us to keep it going through continued donations.
How You Can Help
Your contribution of any amount marked in the donation box when you send in your sewer bill is tax deductible and will be used to fund this worthy cause.

Thank you to all the individual donations that have been received through out the year. The Flush Fund could not continue without your support.
