Background:

There is an unsewered area in the District West of 16th Ave South and North of S 128th Street which requires construction of a trunk sewer line for eventual connection to sewers. This project will construct that trunk line in 2009. The project will install approximately 700 feet of 8� sewer main between 14th Ave S and 16th Ave S. Click here to view Map.

Status:

The construction project has been awarded to Hoffman Construction, Inc. for a public bid price of $162,401.09.

Funding:

Funding is through a bond issue and will be paid back as homes, currently on septic systems, connect to sewers and pay their connection charges.
